There is some real momentum in three areas at the moment.

1. Willoughby City Council have engaged landscape architects, Scott Carver, to plan an upgrade for the village streetscape with the first draft due any minute. Stay tuned.

2. Some residents are getting traction lobbying for a review of the parking and traffic in Hampden Road. This might include extending parking limits to cover Saturday afternoon and Sunday; removing the clearways; and moving the traffic lights to Broughton Road intersection.

3. Anthony Roberts MP has offered some generous support to clean up and repaint the façade in Hampden Road, subject to labour and agreement with the landlords.
