March 2020

A belated Happy New Year to all Artarmon residents and workers. You are our life blood.

Artarmon Village Inc (AVI) had some success in 2019. The pigeon infestation and associated plaques of excrement are gone from Hampden Road.

Extended parking restrictions in the village across the weekend means that the shops are not parked out every weekend.

Our first meeting for 2020 established the AVI committee members: Nick Logan Nick Logan Pharmacist Advice Nikhil Mehta Artarmon Dentists Ian Huntley Inter Desserts Rickie Norris Gelatissimo Artarmon Evita Barbosa Artarmon Fruity Latin Market Valerio Domenici Zucchero Café Bar Jeremy Ong Laing + Simmons Artarmon

Please appreciate and support these local business owners who have committed to improving your shopping precinct by becoming committee members of AVI.

In 2020, we will strive to improve public amenities for our customers. We still view public toilets on both sides of the station as essential but want to improve comfort and convenience for our locals.

We want shoppers to enjoy spending more time in the precinct interacting with our network of small businesses with personality and service.

AVI committee recently held a successful information night with the aim of increasing membership and prioritising our goals and objectives for Artarmon shops. Look out for new members with AVI decals in their windows! Please follow us on Facebook @ artarmonvillage for offers, deals and news from our vibrant network of AVI member businesses
